Jim Grogan
Principal Solicitor

Jim is the founder and Principal of the Firm and has been in independent private general practice since 2001. He has extensive experience in a number of legal areas including: Personal Injury Litigation, Property Law, Wills and Probate Law, Employment Law

He is a fully qualified Trust & Estate practitioner (TEP) specialising in the all areas of Probate Law including advising on and drafting of Wills, Trusts and Enduring Powers of Attorney. He holds a Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning from the Law Society of Ireland and is a full member of The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners worldwide (STEP) and until recently was a committee member of the Ireland branch of STEP. 

He has appeared and represented clients in all courts and tribunals within the Republic of Ireland. He also practised law in Western Australia for a period with similar experience in the Law of Probate and Litigation. 

Jim also specialises in all areas of Employment Law and holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland. He advises clients from both an employer and employee perspective on a wide variety of employment related matters.

Jim is admitted to practice law as a Solicitor by the Senior Court of England & Wales and has also been formally admitted to practice as a Solicitor by the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Jim is a former member of An Garda Siochana and is the proud recipient of a Gold Scott medal for bravery. It is the highest honour that a Garda may receive for bravery in the line of duty.

He graduated from University College Cork with BCL and LLB law degrees. He has a keen interest in all sport including GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Golf. Jim represented his native County Clare in football at underage level. He also played at club level for Nemo Rangers in Cork City.

Michael Grogan
Associate Solicitor

Michael qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 and joined the firm in 2020 having completed his legal training in a well known General Practice in Cork City. Michael acts for a variety of clients in all areas of litigation and also advises clients on a broad range of general practice matters.

Michael is a graduate of University College Cork where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree before going on to study in University College Dublin’s Smurfit Business School where he graduated with a Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in International Business. Michael is a huge sports fan and has keen interest in travelling.
